PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Web and Digital Media Consultant is responsible for updating, managing and maintaining the websites of the Office of Economic Empowerment. The work involves interacting with internal and external content managers, consultants, management, and users to design, improve and update website content. This is a contract position. Position Summary: The Project Manager/Web Designer Senior is responsible for updating, managing and maintaining the websites of the Office of Economic Empowerment. The work involves interacting with internal and external content managers, consultants, management, and users to design, improve and update website content. This is a contract position. Responsibilities • Manage web and digital media assets and ensure mandates of the Treasurers office are followed appropriately. • Manage internal and external webinars and assist with pre and post webinar operations. • Oversee, maintain and improve website to support OEE goals and objectives, continuously recommending improvements based on best practices and emerging technologies. • Design, build and edit web content on MyFinancialLifeMA, BabyStepsSavingsPlan and EqualPayMA websites. • Oversee quality control of websites. • Oversee integration of learning management systems for all websites. • Manage coordination of content updates on a regular basis. • Manage web maintenance and accessibility contracts • Design, document, communicate and continually update all critical website operations processes, ensuring awareness and adherence among Treasury staff and external users. • Meet with management and other stakeholders to gather technical requirements and map out specifications in the design, improvement or update of website and website content. • Partner with internal and external content managers and other staff to ensure that sites meet both staff, customer and Treasury needs. • Participate in status meetings with staff and provide direction in meeting deadlines. • Update and maintain mass.gov OEE website. • Perform other duties as assigned.
