The Consultant shall work no more than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays. Overtime is not permitted. The Consultant shall work at OSCs 110 State Street building in Albany, New York. OSC will provide all necessary IT equipment. The Consultant shall report to the OSC Project Director. The Consultant will work with OSC business and IT professionals. Services to be provided by the Consultant include: • Configure Payroll System for Payroll Tax Treatment for Non-Resident Aliens • Proper configuration of withholdings in the payroll system • Configuration for the tracking of visas and tax treaties • Configure Employee/Employer tax withholding for employees who are non-residents of New York • Configuration to ensure proper payroll taxation of work state versus residence state • Review OSC internal business practices and recommend processing improvements, supporting OSC efforts to implement such improvements • Provide knowledge transfer of tax processing and PeopleSoft delivered functionality • Identify opportunities to retire customizations in the payroll system and restore delivered functionality   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
