As a Project Manager for Tennessees statewide data management platform, Tennessee Plans for Learning Success and Excellence (TN PULSE), you will lead a team of support professionals in providing technical assistance to educators and administrators using TN PULSE. This role involves understanding the unique needs of special populations, implementing comprehensive support strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the platforms user experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in Education, Special Education, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role within the education sector.

· Familiarity with Tennessee special education practices.

· Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture.

· Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

· Understanding of educational platforms and data management systems is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Ability to set and communicate high expectations, to delegate tasks effectively, and to motivate and develop others in a manner that maximizes productivity and morale.

· Oversee day-to-day help desk operations, ensuring timely and tailored support.

· Prioritize and escalate issues related to special populations appropriately.

· Monitor and analyze support data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

· Lead and inspire a help desk team focused on providing inclusive support.

· Foster a culture of empathy and understanding for the needs of special populations.

· Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members awareness and skills related to special education processes and TN PULSE.

· Collaborate with educators, special education professionals, and accessibility experts to understand the unique requirements of special populations processes.

· Develop and implement support strategies to address the specific needs of end users.

· Ensure that the help desk team is equipped to assist users with a range of abilities and requirements.

· Advocate for and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

· Act as a liaison between the help desk team and other departments to ensure alignment with the platforms goals.
