Note:

Description:

Assists the IT department in the creation of a IT contracts playbook that includes the best practices for negotiating IT contracts including SaaS and related service level agreements. May be responsible for creation of IT vendor management program. Requires a bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in the negotiating IT contracts and/ or managing IT vendors. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May be required to lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.

Comments:

• Selected contractor will be required to submit to thorough background investigation(s) prior to/ immediately after hiring
• Background investigation fees or other related costs will have to be borne by the vendor and will not be reimbursed by Milwaukee County
• Contractor will need to pay for parking. Parking will not be reimbursed by Milwaukee County.
• May lead to contract to hire position
• Travel related expenses including additional mileage will not be reimbursed by Milwaukee County
• On call time will not be paid for this position
