Develop and maintain standard, ad hoc and exception reports through the use of NPR, DR, MS-Access and third-party report generators. 2. Maintain the HIS SQL data repository; develop and maintain ODBC links to other applications, and maintain foreign system interfaces. 3. Work directly with the software vendor (MEDITECH) on identified issues, questions and concerns; implement the appropriate changes into the DPH MEDITECH system. 4. Assist with training other IT staff and end-users as appropriate; develop training scripts and documentation 5. Perform testing, documentation and validation of future MEDITECH versions and other related software. 6. Assist other application analysts with technical questions and NPR report requests as needed; work on team projects 7. Develop web applications (i.e. surveys, reports, applications). 8. Develop and maintain the Summit Scripting and Print Manager Product. 9. Determine causes of application failure by evaluating error messages and by using various application tools in order to determine appropriate response and to make necessary program changes. 10. Maintains and documents all issues in the BOPHF ticket tracking system. 11. Communicate fixes and updates to hospital staff. 12. Research new technologies; attend seminars, workshops, training sessions and professional meetings to keep abreast of developments in the field.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
