Description : ------------------------------------------------------ Specializes in information and network security.Analyzes security risks and plans controls. Develops policies and procedures to implementsecurity practices. Coordinates implementation ofsecurity controls. Designs and implements controls.Monitors compliance with security policies andprocedures. Security Analyst capabilities with 8-10 years of experience. Familiar with standard securityconcepts, practices, and procedures. Relies onlimited experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Success in this role will require experience with thefollowing technologies at minimum: Microsoft ActiveDirectory experience, including version 2003through 2008 and\or related management overlayssuch as Hyena; mainframe security; and mainframeapplication security experience, includingexperience on the IBM Z\OS platform, Host onDemand (HOD), RACF and Powershell. Additionally,experience with BusinessObjects security and previous experience with theState of Wisconsin WAMS (Web AccessManagement System) tool would be beneficial. Candidate will preferably have experience within astate or federal agency, and familiarity with relatedstandards associated with data security andmanagement functions. This position will workindependently and as a member of a teamprocessing access requests and revocations forstate applications following defined procedures. Thisfunction provides its primary support duties via ahelpdesk type model and the candidate will beexpected to provide support, as well as develop andmaintain professional relationships to support sisteragencies and partners, which range from countiesand tribes to third party contracting firms working on behalf of the state of Wisconsin.
