Job Description Manager: Property & Casualty Experience, Project Management, -,

Single point of contact for managing large complex project with multiple stakeholders in support of a major implementation of core Property and Casualty claims system (Guidewire) from plan phase through implementation. Provide senior level project management and leadership for the extraction and cleansing conversion of data across multiple lines of business (open and closed claims).
The ideal candidate is a senior level integration project manager that could step into a program level if necessary. They should have at least 10 years of hands-on Project Management experience demonstrating the following basic skills:
• Multi-tasking position requiring experience in technical data conversion, business acumen, coordination skills, and supervisory competence to effectively and efficiently manage the progression and ultimate completion
• Work closely with Claims functional leaders to develop a detailed conversion plans to ensure all historical data is available to meet their business needs.
• Work with business end users to complete data Test and User Acceptance Test, and lead the process to timely resolve defects during testing cycles.
• Own the development life-cycle and responsible for managing and directing all project activities; including managing scope, change orders, status reporting, risks, defects, as well as regularly track project, master schedule, and control gate progress and resources within budget and project schedule.
• Coordinating, supervising, and managing day-to-day activities of onshore and offshore data conversion specialists
• Managing multiple data conversion projects, adhering to tight project budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality data.
• Communicating and interacting with data conversion and QC specialists, and clients on data conversion issues
• Developing and implementing data conversion plans, cost controls, quality assurance plans and specifications for claims and insurance projects.
• Demonstrated project management expertise required, including ability to manage multiple integration/test projects of > $20M value and with project teams in excess of 50 members.
• Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets.
• Follow established project management practices including management of scope, requirements, issues, and risks.
• Create MS Project schedule and utilize the schedule to communicate and manage the work.
• Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project interdependencies.
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
• Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills
Additional requirements:
Must have P&C Claims experience with an understanding of claims business processes
Must have integration project management experience. Project Management certification preferred.
Experience with database design and development is preferred
