Prioritize and validate customer needs and requests for product changes and enhancements from multiple teams (Product Managers, Product Support, and Implementations). • Facilitate product scenario, user story and solution design sessions for product enhancements. • Drive effective release status communications to ensure that all appropriate internal teams have visibility to the contents and status of critical commitments in the release, as well as visibility into overall product readiness. This includes ensuring that key product decisions made within the delivery cycle are communicated and understood so that product readiness and intent are achieved. • Actively participate in roadmap planning sessions by offering ideas, solutions and technical product guidance. Provide input on solution feasibility, approach and high level scope. • Actively participate with Product Managers and product development teams to define product requirements, specifications, acceptance testing criteria and design requirements. • Explore ways of improving existing products and services by continuously monitoring market competitors. Job Knowledge and Skill Qualifications: • Knowledge of the financial services space, with emphasis in the Billing, Presentment, and Payment Processing (ACH and/or card) arena. • Knowledge, experience, and proficiency in Product Owner/Management standards and practices (Agile, Scrum, Pragmatic Marketing) with particular appreciation for the end-to-end Product management discipline. • Experience with SaaS deployed software solutions. • Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and make balanced judgments when faced with trade-offs. • Unique ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with software developers and other technical leaders. • Detail-oriented, able to bring clarity to complex situations, and skilled at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. • The ability to excel in dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a high degree of adaptability/flexibility, and a focus on achieving the common goal. Education / Experience Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience working with software products and/or programs, particularly in requirements definition, documentation and project management. • Excellent knowledge of the Billing and Payments space highly desired. ACH processing experience a plus. • Expert knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Product Owner certification highly desireable. • BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
