If you have strong experience in writing embedded software in C language along with the knowledge of Eclipse IDE, then this position is well suited to you Responsibilities of the Sr. Software Design Engineer - ADAS: Provide support to the Software Architect in parsing customer requirements, developing sub-sections of a software requirements specification or developing sub-sections of a software architecture specification Develop software component design and unit test specifications Lead software design reviews and conduct technical impact analysis for software change requests Identify technical risks in the design, and develop mitigation strategies Monitor software coders work progress and develop source code as necessary to maintain program timelines Participate or lead code, unit test, and integration test reviews Provide support in the development of software requirements specification and software architecture specification sub-sections. Provide support in the integration of test specification sub-sections, source code integration, diff, merge, branching, check-in, etc Provide support in unit test and integration test execution Qualifications of the Sr. Software Design Engineer - ADAS: BS in EE/CE, Masters preferred. 5+ years of experience in writing embedded software in C language along with the knowledge of Eclipse IDE or similar is preferred . Knowledge of Microcontrollers. 32-bit automotive multi-core micros. Infineon Aurix TCxxx family; Renesas E2x/RH850 family; NXP MPC55xx family. Knowledge of Microcontroller Hardware. Timers (GTM, TPU, WDT), Memory (SDRAM, DDRAM, eMMC, FLASH, ECC, DMA), Peripherals (ETHERNET, CAN, SENT, UART, LIN, SPI), Safety (SMU, FCCU), etc. Knowledge of Hardware IC Devices such as Character and Block device drivers, H-Bridge, injection drivers, knock drivers, WRAF drivers, CAN Transceivers, etc Experience with Software Design Tools such as Requirements modeling, UML modeling, AUTOSAR configuration, RTOS configuration, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Experience with Software Development Tools such as Cross compilers, static code analysis, in-circuit debuggers, serial communication tools, HIL systems, measurement & calibration tools. Knowledge of Test Equipment such as Oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, current probes, function generator, etc. Experience with Software Process/Standards and Communication Protocols such as V-Model, MISRA, ASPICE, ISO26262, CAN, CANFD, LIN, SENT, Ethernet.
