Candidates work directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidates manage medium to large software development projects without assistance. Duties include project scope definition, project risk assessment, project plan development, project resource management, assignment of work, estimation and target date planning, project monitoring, control and adjustment, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, coordination with internal and external teams, quality assurance, and project implementation. Candidates have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications development and the development technologies utilized. Candidates coordinate production support activities, with focus on timely and accurate resolution of issues. Candidates work cooperatively with other team leaders to coordinate the work of the team. Candidates have strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience must be current within the last year. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or at least 5 years software development experience, including broad exposure to the software development lifecycle.
