Job Description Engineer: C#, ASP.Net, ADO.NET, XML HTML SQL Server 20052008 SHARE POINT

[*********It is a Part time position(20 hours maximum) No overtime permitted.**********]

Job Description:

Function: Works under general supervision and participates in the design and development of SharePoint extranet/intranet systems. May work independently or as a part of a team. May serve as senior technical staff member for assigned project.

Responsibilities:

· Integrally involved in the development of Intranet/Extranet sites and supporting systems.
· Works closely with other IT groups and customers to define the system design and user interface based on customer needs and objectives.
· Participates in all phases of the development and implementation process.
· Ensures the integration of the web servers and all other supporting systems by using message based middleware and interfacing with relational databases.
· Be knowledgeable of best-practices for building secure web applications.
· Responsible for developing client-side scripting and server-side application code.
· Extensive knowledge in using programming languages such as Visual Basic, HTML, XML, Java, and ASP.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills:

Programming/application development experience should include: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web Services, ADO.NET, OOP, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Experience with the design and development of forms/forms solutions using Microsoft InfoPath and Forms Server.

Must be familiar with the SQL Server 2005 / 2008 platform.

Experience with database design, development and testing of stored procedures, views, and other SQL Server objects.

Must be familiar with the SharePoint 2007 / 2010 platform.

Experience using SharePoint Designer and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS).
Knowledge of web site design and development with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 / 2010 definitely a plus.

MOSS 2007 / SP 2010 Development experience.

Additional Skills:

Experience with SharePoint workflow development.

Experience and knowledge of collaboration administration, security permissions, publishing sites, site collections, web parts, document libraries, and lists.

SharePoint 2007 / 2010 installation and configuration experience considered a plus.
