Job Description :

3 months with possible CTH

Below is the information:

Requirements:

· BS, EE or CS degree with 3+ years of experience.

· Experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment methods and tools

· Intermediate to advance knowledge of Git.

· Experience working in a .NET environment

· Experience provisioning infrastructure

· Experience deploying high availability systems and software

· Experience in incident management

· Strong understanding of best practices in the DevOps community

· Strong experience in administrating cloud services, monitoring, networks, and servers in Azure and AWS

· Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret reports generated by several software management solutions such as APM, log management, and web analytics.

· Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues

· Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situation

· Advance scripting using Powershell and bash

· Understanding in mobile apps, game consoles, Smart TV apps, social networking, and music & streaming video.

· Working experience in SQL, HTTP protocol, DNS and domain configuration, and scripting

· Knowledge of API usage.

· Knowledge of web application hosting

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with the Drupal CMS.

· Experience with micro services

· Knowledge of container technologies

· Knowledge of information security principles and relavant technologies

· Familiarity with CDNs (Akamai, Limelight, Level 3, Edgecast).


DevOps Engineer

Reporting to the Executive Director, Platform Operations and working closely with several different teams within the Digital Platforms Group (DPG) and third-party vendors, the DevOps Engineer will provide day-to-day technical and strategic operational management for the existing and future content publishing and video distribution platform. The DevOps Engineer will include first line of defense responsibilities such as production monitoring, alerting, and triaging issues. The primary responsibilities will be building, configuring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS, instilling best practices and cutting-edge technology to streamline, automate, and scale our platform effortlessly.
