Our client is in need of an experienced iOS Developer / Software Engineer to help build out their SDKs so that other developers are able to build applications and features on-top of the platform in a more efficient manner. Must Haves: 3-5+ yearsexperience in iOS dev & software engineering Programming with iOS codebase (Objective-C, Swift) Experience with object oriented codebase Experience re-writing code from Objective-C to Swift Experience in XCode Apple IDE experience Extensive hands-on experience with SDK (Software Development Kit) Implementing and developing SDK -- not just developing applications on-top of it Ownership of SDKs, the entire iOS applications, or other large features API integration experience Knowledge of how this applies to the UI and overall business logic Strong knowledge of software design principles Experience with continuous integration and testing frameworks Apple testing framework experience Plus: A Masters in CS (computer science) Deep knowledge and understanding of back-end logic Experience integrating with difficult back-end servers Day to Day responsibilities: This persons responsibilities will include helping to build our clients open-source SDKs (Software Development Kits), so that any developer building applications will be able to utilize the platform efficiently and easily. On top of building out our clients SDK, this person will also be helping to re-write codebase from Objective-C to Swift. You will be joining our clients SDK team in order to design and build the SDKs that power their world class applications, as well as their 3rd party developed applications. Initially, you will work with internal iOS Developers to learn all about Boxs SDKs and their usage within the applications then will move onto build and deploy major SDK features.
