Automated testing framework already in place, so this candidate will be adding to team due to growth of the client. The Automation Tester will be working closely with DevOps team. Technical Stack: Automation with Selenium, Web Service API, complex SQL queries. Java or C# experience preferred. Day to Day Responsibilities: Reviews product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases. Identifies scope and implements automated testing to improve overall testing cycle. Prepares reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of automated scripts. Integrates new automation scripts into existing build pipeline, as appropriate. Involved in supporting the build pipeline, automation processes, and test environments. Performs automation failure analysis and fix the broken test cases. Collaborates with DevOps and Support teams to deliver stable and robust automation suites. Understands APIs used in applications and automate critical scenarios. Participates in the continual maintenance of code base and refactoring Qualifications: Strong programming experience in C# or JAVA and familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse or similar IDE. Experience with functional automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium or similar test automation framework. Automation with RESTful API web services and validation using Postman or similar tools. SQL Server experience and ability to write moderately complex SQL statements. Source Code management using tools such as Git with knowledge of branching and merging. Strong verbal and written communication skills to discuss, develop and implement plans. Work independently as well as work effectively in a team atmosphere. Collaborates with DevOps and Support teams to deliver stable and robust automation suites.
