The Court Information Systems Division (CIS) is responsible for providing technological support to the states courts, making court information available to the public, and developing and implementing online, court-related services. The Administrative Office of the Courts is building a new court management solution for Arkansas Courts. The Technical Architecture Specialist will work with our software development teams and system users to ensure that the new system meets the technical needs of court users and the data requirements for tracking court cases involving commercial driver license (CDL) holders and commercial motor vehicles (CMV) for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The application is being developed in AWS government cloud using Dot Net Core technologies. JOB DUTIES: •Work on an Agile team that employs the Disciplined Agile Methodology •Work with the team to create a new court management system •Design, code, debug, and test application software and reports •Monitor, optimize, and tune applications for maximum performance •Troubleshoot user-reported application and report issues •Document and report on daily progress, procedures, and activities •Maintain application and report documentation •Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. •Experience o Two years in a software application development role is required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: •Knowledge of ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core frameworks •Knowledge of and experience developing with the C# programming language •Knowledge of or experience developing solutions in the cloud •Knowledge of database systems like MS SQL, MySQL and Oracle and the integration of those databases into the development of system software •Knowledge of frameworks like Identity Server •Knowledge of version control systems like GIT •Knowledge of Linux operating system and containers as a system platform •Knowledge of Dev / Ops Deployment systems like Jenkins •Ability to develop visually appealing front-end web applications including translating mock-ups into front-end code •Ability to design and develop RESTful web APIs •Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with court and non-court, legal and non-legal, technical, and non-technical persons •Knowledge of application development in Linux and Windows server operating system environments. •Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines •Ability to write and execute program design specification.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
