The impact of this role will be at the team level providing ongoing oversight/support to development/implementation teams throughout the program/project/technology lifecycle (e.g., review application-level designs to ensure alignment with conceptual designs. This individual could be involved across many aspects of architecture, design, build, engineering and implementation of technical solutions and capabilities providing technical leadership. Responsible for communicating overall architecture vision, technical strategies, and trade-offs across various levels in the organization to gain buy-in. Will provide recommendations and technical guidance to improve performance, reliability, and reusability within the constraints of budget, resource and business dependencies. In base and mid-level roles, engages across teams in a capacity that ranges from assisting on in-flight initiatives, up to technical briefings and demonstrations of new technologies across the organization. In senior level roles, leads business solutions, capabilities, and is a strong influencer that engages with client executives and stakeholders. 1. Ensure our suite of applications being used by our organization to create the composite architecture that is scalable, reliable, available and manageable. 2. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan. 3. Collaborate with the business to understand/refine/influence business requirements. Ensure that the business opportunity is properly interpreted, well-understood and clearly documented 4. Collaborate with the business to define an end-to-end operational vision. Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact 5. Ensure understanding of business capabilities/processes (current and future) 6. Maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps 7. Provide ongoing oversight/support to development/implementation teams throughout the program/project/technology lifecycle (e.g., review application-level designs to ensure alignment with conceptual designs) 8. Review implementation to ensure alignment with conceptual design, and resolve any operational issues 9. Understand and adhere to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance framework (e.g., principles, policies, standards, reference architectures, data-driven designs) 10. Seek opportunities for reuse of existing technology assets, and make appropriate recommendations Must have qualifications/experience: 1. 7 to 10 years of IT development \ architect experience. 2. Awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each 3. Awareness of current business and industry issues/trends, and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate 4.
