Candidates should be local to DC. REQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience with .Net & Sharepoint 2010 or 2013. This is a migration project - the have just migrated from SP 2010 to SP 2013 and are in the process of migrating legacy coldfusion code to .Net. Provides expert advice and assistance in structuring technology applications in support of business processes within the OIG and serving as an expert and consultant both to JPM management and to OIG executive leaders regarding integrating IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity. Designs, codes, tests, documents, deploys and maintains web-based software applications using the current technologies and methodologies adopted for use within the OIG. Technologies include frameworks such as ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework and SharePoint; programming and scripting languages and libraries such as C#, JQuery and JavaScript; Microsoft SQL RDBMS; and Windows operating system. Responsible for all functions associated with the design, implementation and maintenance of SQL Server databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures. Follows an Agile, test-driven development approach with a strong emphasis on unit testing and continuous integration and perform duties as a member of a development team under the guidance of the Division Manager and the Lead Software Architect. Incorporates state-of-the-art concepts and technologies in designing and developing software applications which meet user requirements while ensuring system security through rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services. In providing solutions to user requirements, follows industry-standard best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
