Job Description :


Title: .NET Architect

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: Long term contract


Functions of .NET Architect:

Provide technical leadership on application development and projects.
Research and develop (R&D) new technological solutions for the needs of the business.
Support of ticket tracking tools, implement process, staff training and security protocols to meet organizational, IT and business standards
Follow Enterprise change management discipline and tracking;
Provide guidance for technical development team on source code administration using best practice toolsets.
Envision and develop next-generation architecture and software to support emerging capabilities.
Assist with application diagnostics including error and log review to recommend application and infrastructure tuning and fixes.
Provide guidance on application build and deployment scripts/tools.
Automate, improve and stream line application deployments and build process across many applications
Coordinate build and promotion activities across different projects
Collect and publish data statistics on applications performance and end user usage;
Monitor application and infrastructure performance; make recommendations for configuration, tuning and testing, and capacity management.
Simultaneously work with multiple, diverse projects and activities.
Support after hours build promotion and system outages, as needed;
Act as liaison to DTNA IT Architecture Team (ADT)
Design, improve and implement process and tools implementations on ongoing basis;
Keep documentation up to date;
Support business applications across different technology platforms
Ensure the applications and the integrations align with the growth strategy of the organization, considering:
Interoperability capability
Performance scalability
Application lifecycle stage
Technological risks
Follow all IT and SOX standards

Required Skills/Experience of .NET Architect:

Experience in .NET technologies
Knowledge supporting an enterprise application
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Ability to explain complex issues in non-technical terms
