Job Description :

3 openings for Support Engineer (Portuguese)

-1 opening for Forums – will be forums only (not phone, chat and emal)

-2 openings for Customer Cases – will be phone, chat and email



Start: by Feb 24th is ideal



Gary is open to reviewing candidates while hes on vacation but formal resume review in person Monday 2/3 at 9:45



Interview Process:

Phone interview with team member

Final interview with Gary (phone or onsite)



Role is all support, no hands-on dev experience is needed. Will support Brazilian customers.

Looking for the following:

-a Generalist, dont need deep skills, difficult issues will go to SMEs after initial scoping

-a web dev person – set up web server, create web pages, do troubleshooting and scoping

-experience with light ASP.Net, ability to set up an IIS Server (both a good foundation to have)

Qualifications:

(Required in one or more of each area) in Browsers, Windows Desktop Development, Web Development

Browsers:

Web and Networking Technologies (HTTP, HTTPS/SSL, WinInet, WinHTTP, WebBrowser Control, MSHTML hosting, etc.)
C/C++, C#, VB.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, DOM
Client Developer Tools (Visual Studio, .NET Framework, DebugDiag, Fiddler, Netmon, Wireshark, Browsers F12 tools).



Languages and Compilers: C/C++, C#, VB.NET, JAVA, HTML5

Developer Tools such as Visual Studio, Unity, Eclipse, .NET Framework, DebugDiag



Web Apps:

Developer technologies and tools targeting web applications and business services hosted in IIS (Internet Information Server)
NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC
Programming language (C#.Net)
Windows Architecture (Network trace analysis, Windows authentication/Active Directory/Certificates & Windows Internals)
Debugging skills





Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years in a customer facing service role in any capacity
Bilingual – preferred though not required: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese
BS Degree in computer science, or equivalent working experience.



Technical Acumen:

We are looking for candidates who have a growth mindset and strongly believe that knowledge can be developed with effort and persistence. Also helpful is a strong technical background, experience, and knowledge in the areas noted below

Thorough troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills in IIS, ASP.
