Description:

Mandatory:

· 8+ yrs direct experience and highly motivated Cloud Architect in the AWS space to work with customers on Software projects to design, automate, and implement industry leading solutions based on AWS

· Motivated Architect passionate about building at scale on AWS which supports how hundreds of people can be productive on AWS.

· Must have strong customer facing skills, able to consult on all critical areas of AWS based cloud solutions spanning infrastructure, applications, devops, security and managed services

· Strong with DNS, Networking, VPC, EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.

· Strong with cloud automation and closely follows enhancements in the cloud industry

· Provide technical leadership, deep technology expertise and architecture experience

· Provide hands-on technical design and implementation ensuring technologies are successfully incorporated

· Ability to be 100% hands on technical as necessary

· Enterprise class experience with cloud migration/transformations, application rationalization, best practices

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of AWS security/governance/compliance tools

• Advanced knowledge on AWS Lambda using python/nodejs

• Advanced knowledge on IaC, AWS CloudFormation, HashiCorp Terraform

• Advanced knowledge on configuration management tools Ansible, Chef

• Advanced knowledge on Kubernetes/AWS EKS and multi-cluster kubernetes management

• Advanced knowledge on cloud native CICD tools AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Experience in nonrelational databases Cassandra/Solr, AWS DynamoDB

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience required

Must have at least 4 years of hands on AWS cloud experience including architecture,design and devops.
