Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Cloud big data technologies. Build and optimize big data data pipelines, data sets, data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement Manage ETL processes, build datasets for analysis, and implement quality monitoring. Build pipelines to transfer data between teams with the organization. Develop a well-maintained code base, leveraging object-oriented design patterns. Produce and execute deliverables according to project plan aligning to business operations. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements Perform other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance. Education/Experience Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science from an accredited university or college. Minimum five (5) years of cloud and big data technologies work experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Agile scrum development experience. Computer Skills Knowledge and experience with the following: New and emerging data and analytics technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Elastic, AWS, etc.) Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift Stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc. Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc. Message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable big data data store   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
