The focus will be full life-cycle Business Intelligence implementation: Customer engagement and requirements gathering, BI data model design, building ETL processes, and data visualization. The challenge will be the data is in multiple sources, each service defines availability differently, and there needs to be a data normalization exercise so we can view all the products uptime % in one dashboard. Requirements: *approx 20-25 products - will take on 2 at a time Define/measure availability for each product/service Determine where the source data currently sits and how to access it Map data and normalize Move data to repository (probably AWS flagship) Design data models and port into BI tool Create dashboard ETL Specialist (CONTRACTOR) The ETL specialist determines and implements strategy for efficient ETL processes for BI data solutions. This will include leveraging ETL Tools, AWS Services and Databases. This person understands and implements a variety of diverse BI acquisition techniques. Ensures compliance with all standards, and that the project deliverables are consistent with long-term infrastructure plans. It is the ETL specialists responsibility to: Understand the data structure in both the source and the target BI systems Create source/target mappings Apply business rules as transformations Design and develop efficient reusable data transformations Define testing strategy include unit tests, end to end integration and user acceptance testing Define and develop processes to monitor production data for quality, accuracy and timeliness Design data cleanup and archival processes Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) Experience with ETL Tools (Talend)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
