Job Description: The role of Sr Analyst, Technical within the Core finance domain will primarily support 2 new applications, these are LeaseCalcPro (LCP) and Partner Settlement. The LCP application is a tax application that supports Captive Leasing. Partner Settlement is an application that supports Financial Operations and the AR and AP related to 3rd party content providers. The role will involve learning the capabilities of the applications and understanding the data flow and integrations that support them. This includes all the ETL processes and logic to acquire and load data to each application. We will need support to identify, enhance, and document operational processes for both applications to ensure reliability, compliance and meet our service level agreements for our business partners. The settlement application requires understanding the development and configuration of the application, so that we can assess, design, build, test and deploy new capabilities. The vendor is still implementing the project thru 2021 but we need to ensure strong knowledge base to support when they leave, as well as provide support for assessments for current enterprise projects as they come thru the pipeline. We also have the goal to make small enhancements in parallel to the work being done by the vendor to implement additional partners. As the Settlement application is within the AWS cloud, we also require support to work with the vendor to identify specific processes for run and maintain related to the AWS instance. This includes ensuring we have identified and documented all processes as well as assisting in there execution. For example rotation of access keys, working with the cloud team to execute the keys, working with developers to update programs with new keys, storing the new keys in the T-Vault. There is also a desire to ensure that we are using the optimal AWS configuration so working to identify opportunities for improvements in performance and cost reductions. We require coordination with various compliance teams to ensure we meet all compliance requirements. Generic responsibilities include: project Management Takes ownership of functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes/systems within domain for each project assigned. Partners across domain IT teams for alignment and impact analysis. Proactively reviews domain for risk and mitigations before they become critical. Continually keeps stakeholders, management and project managers informed of team activities and work-plan status. Leads issue resolution efforts to help eliminate or reduce scheduling or budget impacts. Researches, identifies and drives improvements to project efficiency, speed and quality via cross-team synergies, methods, tools and staffing models Product Management Collaborate with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provides education on potential process and system solution options, and drives business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities. Facilitates sessions to solicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories). Technology and System Translates business requests (Customer Journeys, EPICs, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and low-level design documents. Includes identification and assessment of potential data sources. Leads analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs within domain for projects with moderate complexity.
