Position Summary We are looking for an experienced cloud security engineer to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions team to build out and support a variety of cybersecurity technologies and processes. The ideal candidate has experience working with large scale enterprise SaaS, PaaS and IaaS and has direct experience with cybersecurity disciplines. This includes providing cybersecurity expertise through research, assessment, development, and evaluation of solutions to secure applications, databases, and AWS services. This role includes partnership with cybersecurity architects in the definition of cybersecurity requirements and risk assessments as well as collaboration with a variety of infrastructure and development teams focused on migrating a large application portfolio to the AWS platform. The Cloud Security Engineer assists in evaluating emerging security solutions and documenting cybersecurity policies and procedures and provides support of the cybersecurity solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and patching. What you would do in this job: Develop, document, operate, and monitor toolkits for the provisioning and managing of the security for cloud infrastructure in accordance with defined cybersecurity controls and standards Work closely with cloud security architects to develop service and technology roadmaps, identify and recommend new services and solutions, and define cybersecurity requirements, standards, best practices, policies, and procedures Partner with our Cloud Center of Excellence, infrastructure teams, and application development teams in delivering and operating cybersecurity controls Evaluate cloud security technologies and their alignment with established cybersecurity and business requirements Transition cloud security solutions to the broader cybersecurity technologies team for ongoing support Work with vendors support teams to continuously improve the product implementation, integration and utilization Partner with other enterprise teams to integrate Cybersecurity solutions with other tooling ecosystems (e.g., CI/CD pipeline) Lead performance tuning, disaster recovery, and integration of applications with other enterprise tools such as ServiceNow Partner with compliance, governance and risk, as needed, to meet corporate policies and regulatory mandates Ensure strict change and configuration management (including all documentation) across all sites and services Communicate effectively and regularly with internal and external customers relating to incidents, problems, changes and maintenance Troubleshoot complex systems, remediate issues, and take steps to prevent recurring issues.
