Job Responsibilities: Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance Maintain configuration and support documentation Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 8-10 years experience required Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses 10+ years of experience as a network administrator or network engineer 5+ years of focused Palo Alto NG Firewall engineering experience Experience with AWS Experience with Palo Alto virtual firewalls in cloud environments Join a Network Security team that is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of firewall, VPN, and web proxy technologies. Focus on Palo Alto technologies. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support: Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and VM) Palo Alto Prisma Cloud Palo Alto in AWS Palo Alto Panorama Diagnose and troubleshoot firewall, proxy, security, and other network-related issues Collaborate with architects, engineers, and administrators to ensure a reliable, high-performance technology environment Recommend network enhancements and purchases Test and assess network performance and security, identifying and remediating any weak areas Proactively research best practices and make recommendations for improvement Develop, set up, and/or maintain procedures and automated processes to monitor and respond to the performance and security status networks and network equipment Participate in on-call support to address critical issues related to assigned duties Create and/or maintain clear and comprehensive technical and administrative documentation Train and mentor junior personnel Adhere to change management policies and procedures Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of network technologies and architecture Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto high availability design and functionality Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto security architecture and capabilities 10+ years of experience as a network administrator or network engineer 5+ years of focused Palo Alto engineering experience Advanced knowledge of VPN, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, UDP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Solid knowledge of encryption protocols Adva   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
