As Sr. Network Engineer contractor, the selected candidate will be responsible for the overall daily operation, configuration, and troubleshooting ODAs distributed infrastructure environment including MS Domain Controller, DNS/DHCP, firewall, network equipment and connectivity, file/printer systems, distributed remote connectivity, wireless network connectivity, mobility, VoIP, video conferencing system and other applied technologies. This position will function as a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer that include: • Design infrastructure architecture to align with departments strategic plan, including servers, cloud, wired and wireless networks, mobile connectivity, VoIP, video conferencing system, etc. • Architect innovative technical solutions for complex and challenging ODAs mobility project and other initiatives • Participate in the project meeting as technical subject expert; follow industry best practice to provide recommendation of network configuration and connectivity design • Optimize network performance and reliability by monitoring, testing, evaluating and analyzing technical issues and ensuring availability and great user experience to internal and external end users • Work closely with service providers on system updates, patches, and troubleshooting network issues. • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and other network related problems and replace defective components as needed • Respond to security related activities to maintain network security and data reliability. • Maintain technical documentation for existing infrastructure and upcoming initiatives. EXPERIENCE: • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study • 10+ years of overall infrastructure architecture design, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting • 10+ years of Microsoft Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy • 10+ years of modern video conferencing solution design and implementation in distributed network environment • 10+ years of mobile network connectivity design and configuration • Professional Certification in infrastructure, network, and/or mobility is desired   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
