Job Description : Description: Job Posting Title Marketing Communications Content Specialist (Maplewood, MN) Contract Position: 12 month duration, extension possible up to 24 months Job Description The person hired for the position of Marketing Communications Content Specialist will assist in the planning, creating and activation of content to engage and nurture customers along the buyers journey. The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills, a mindset informed by campaign metrics, and a strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing tactics. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist in the planning, creating and activation of integrated marketing communications strategies, programs and campaigns to drive business results Assist in collaborating with marketing, technical service, regulatory and legal partners to develop effective and relevant content that engages customers across the buyers journey Leverage subject matter experts to develop and deploy content strategies and tactics to reach the target audience Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of programs and tactics delivered to customers Advocate for continuous improvement of content and delivery to improve desired results Manage multiple projects, programs and campaigns Manage external resources and vendors Ensure alignment to corporate and business brand strategy, visual identity and tone of voice Administrative duties aligned with project work - digital asset management, preparation of artwork files for syndication, PO creation, etc. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution Minimum of five (3-5) years combined experience in Communications and/or Marketing Minimum one (1) year of digital marketing experience (marketing automation, SEO, SEM, digital media, digital content, link strategy development, and/or tagging) Minimum two (2) years cross-functional team experience Minimum two (2) years project management Preferred Qualifications: Experience in in B2B communications preferrably in a health care or regulated industry environment Understanding of digital marketing and application of content marketing Strong collaboration and team management skills Experience with customer insights Comfortable with ambiguity and risk taking Experience working in a matrixed organization Ability to make strong business cases that lead to management support for programs Worker is self directed, brings a special skill and knowledge to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Worker proposes, plans, produces and measures integrated communication project and campaigns that support functional marketing/business plans, organizational plans and our reputation and brand strategy. Manages resources allocated to project by supervisor and clients. Provides training, and assistance to co-workers, team members, work groups and suppliers. Must apply advanced knowledge of communication processes and technologies and is able to identify and recommend new technologies/processes.
