Candidate must be Agile or Scrum Certification 24 months experience working with multi entity project teams in the development and successful implementation of applications related to gun safety and gun legislation. 84 months experience implementing projects utilizing industry standard system life cycle methodologies including iterative project planning, design, development 24 months experience managing project teams developing in IBM WebSphere Portal utilizing JDK 1.5 or above and which utilize business analysts and testers experienced with Requisite Pro, HP Quality Center and/or Quick Test 36 months experience managing projects in a state or federal government environment. Day-to-Day tasks Defining and guiding project scope, schedule and budget Guiding project teams in the development of business cases, requirements gathering, business and technical documentation, testing and deployment planning, risk mitigation strategies and project status reporting Acting as mentor to staff oriented in matrix management techniques, including negotiating with senior management on resource allocations, project responsibilities and tasking as well as mentoring and training resources as necessary Communicating project status to team members as well as management including project status presentations to executives both inside and outside the Agency Functioning as a facilitator to clarify business and technical requirements which cross project team boundaries Identifying project risks and dependencies and providing implementation alternatives to mitigate project risk related to scope, schedule and budget   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
