Job Description Developer: Agile, Tibco, Java, Jsp Javascript HTML XML CVS

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

·Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements and the design of solutions for new applications.

·Develop work estimates for projects.

·Perform support and development activities for applications and/or projects assigned to the team.

·Document application and system specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.

·Identify and evaluate vendor software and integration strategies.

·Develop and code applications to specification.

·Identify and implement appropriate testing strategy.

·Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.

·Participate in a self directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.

·Off-hours work will be required as business demands dictate.

·Carry and/or respond to cell phone calls for off-hours to fix application problems.

·Some travel may be required.

Qualifications:

·Bachelors degree in CS, MIS, or technical area or the equivalent combination of education and experience

·5+ years professional experience in IT solutions development preferably in a medium to large corporate environment

·4+ years experience with C# and the .Net frameworks

· 2+ years experience with Windows Mobile platform

· Experience with native function calls through PInvoke.

· Experience automating unit and integration tests.

· Familiarity with MSBuild and Nant.

· Relational database skills.

· Experience with project life cycle methodologies.

· Ability to troubleshoot problems.

· Ability to exercise good judgment, decision making and creativity.

· Ability to readily grasp complex architectural environments.

· Ability to work from general direction in the development of detailed solutions.

· Must enjoy assisting others in supporting project needs.

· Good organizational skills.



Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

· Agile development experience

· Experience with TIBCO.

· Distributed platform development (Java, JavaScript and JSP with Struts HTML).

· Familiarity with XML and web services.

· Solid understanding of source control (SVN, CVS, etc…) including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.

· Experience using Mercury testing tools (i.e. TestDirector, Quicktest and LoadRunner).
