Required Capabilities/Experience 5+ years of relevant hands-on development experience Thorough working knowledge of Java SE, including version 5.0 enhancements Extensive enterprise Java programming experience with one or more application servers at all layers (persistence, business, interfaces, SOA) Experience working in an agile context with just enough architecture and design, close working relationship with the business, and an understanding of how to deliver in an incremental fashion Strong knowledge of modern web application technologies XML, SOAP, Web Services, AJAX, Spring, etc Strong knowledge of relational database design principles, a working knowledge of SQL and JDBC Excellent verbal/written communication skills Ability to quickly learn and evaluate existing software systems Excellent collaboration abilities, a positive attitude and strong team player Strong advocate and skilled in engineering disciplines such as unit testing (ideally test-infected), continuous integration, version control, code reviews, etc. Desirable Capabilities/Experience: Experience with Oracle, SQL Server Experience with build automation using Ant and Maven Some familiarity with the lending/leasing processes of banks or other financial institutions   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
