Troubleshooting user issues on Staging/QA environments and communicate directly with the users to resolve application related issues. Designing and implementing J2EE design patterns using Rational Software Architect (RSA). Implementing design patterns like Session Façade, Front Controller, Data accessing object, business delegate, Value object patterns and so on. Identifies and recommends development methodologies and frameworks for the projects. Developing Java code for reusable and distributed components for J2EE applications. Designing and developing UI Screens using AJAX, XSLT, XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Developing code to meet NY State accessibility standards. Reviews the project requirements and risks/benefits involved and provide estimates to the Project Manager and to the users for the work to be completed. Monitoring service requests/incidents that were assigned to our team using Service Management (ITSM) tool and resolve them based on severity. Developing and maintaining Web Services solutions (REST/SOAP). Providing solutions using scripting languages such as Perl, Bash or Korn. Qualifications: Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications. Leverages the methods 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months of documented experience in Java development and maintenance of software systems developed in Java, JSP and XML using IBM WebSphere. 84 months documented experience developing with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) version 8 (or later), or ITM Rational System Architect (RSA) version 8 or later. 84 months documented experience with WebSphere development for a state or federal government entity 84 months documented experience developing and maintaining Java applications for technologies related to directory services 84 months documented experience developing web services in WebSphere version 8 (or later) 84 months documented experience designing and maintaining JPA applications. 84 months documented experience in Javascript, AJAX and UML 24 months documented experience integrating Okta security into web applications 84 months Demonstrated experience creating accessible websites that are 508 and/or WCAG 2.0 compliant.
