This position will not be developing new code. This is a forensics position - the individual will read existing code from MS Access and SQL Server/SSIS and then discuss data transformations with an Actuarial SME, IT Requirements Analyst or Data Analyst. Any new solution or code will not be developed by this person - it will be built by the IT department. Responsibilities: Reverse engineering of Access and SQL processes Current process documentation Identify key business metrics and business rules Required Experience: Advanced Access database working knowledge 2+ years experience with analysis and problem solving techniques Ability to understand complex processes Ability to evaluate and analyze multiple sets of data Ability to read and translate/explain data models, source to target mapping and lineage documents Ability to write and execute intermediate ad hoc queries Ability to analyze existing Access processes and identify data transformation rules Ability to gather and document technical requirements Excellent attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing business needs Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Exceptional problem solving skills Self-starter and ability to work independently or with a team Ability to multi-task when necessary Dependable/reliable Goal and deadline orientated Professional attitude   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
