GENERAL SUMMARY: Interacts with management, human resources, and other groups to implement, upgrade, support and maintain Cognos, Qlikview and other HR Business Intellegence solutions. Works with internal teams around the world to develop reports and dashboards. Expected to take a hands-on approach to solving complex system projects with creative solutions. Performs project coordination, communication and training. Adheres to data privacy policies. Job Description: Dashboards/Metrics –Design and implement dashboards and reports, build data models and report definitions. Implement HR metrics dashboard, scorecards and other analytics for executive management. System Administration – Responsible for system administration, upgrades, troubleshooting, customer support and user security for BI platforms in a global environment with the ability to travel to various Company sites. Analyze end user requirements and provide consultations and project management. Assist in troubleshooting post-production performance issues with end user report queries. Demonstrate best practices for accessing and analyzing data in HR systems to functional and technical users. Provide training on BI platforms to drive usage of the tools. Assists with rollout and communication related to new reports, dashboards and initiatives. Act as internal expert on technical aspects of HR dashboards and reports. Support import/export interface solutions; communicates effectively with internal and external developers and other technical personnel to create interface programs; tests and troubleshoots interface issues; implements appropriate data safeguards such as encryption and secure transfer procedures. Schedules and leads project meetings; provides system demonstrations; identifies critical business or end-user requirements; identifies potential issues and researches possible solutions; develops test plans. Supports projects with research, analysis, coordination and communication. Documentation – Creates and maintains documents for process flow, procedures and training purposes. Uses flow charts, screen shots and step-by-step instructions to document HR system usage. Experience Requirements: Experience with database maintenance and reporting tools. Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with education. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities while working independently. Advanced Excel knowledge– vLookup, Pivot Tables, etc. Ability to work with cross-functional, diverse, and geographically distributed teams; ability to coordinate with a global extended team. Up to 10% international travel potential. 1-3 years of Cognos or Qlikview (or similar) development experience. Knowledge of Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Event Studio. Ability to create Qlikview dashboards and monitor Qlikview Mangement Console. Experience working with HR-specific data would be beneficial.
