Job Description: The SharePoint Business Analyst provides administrative support of various content management applications such as SharePoint and Documentum. Primary responsibility includes all aspects of analyzing, scoping, testing, validating, deploying and maintaining business functions and processes developed on these platforms. SharePoint Administrative duties including: 1. Acts as SharePoint Administrator for my clients SharePoint business users 2. Creates new SharePoint sites, manage permissions and restrict/revoke access as needed 3. Manages existing SharePoint sites and provide guidance to business units on structure of their sites 4. Analyze current business requirements and map to SharePoint 5. Identify new areas on an ongoing basis where SharePoint can be leveraged and provide first line maintenance support (includes trouble shooting and analysis to business users as needed) 6. Conducts business analysis and gathers requirements for SharePoint work requests (AWRs) for modifications to existing sites, process flows, etc. 7. Works closely with Constellation SharePoint developers to engage and understand SharePoint processes and functionality needed to support business 8. Train end users on basic functionality, direct users to training material and resource availability in the company 9. Supports all Constellation Business Resource Group (BRG) SharePoint sites and BGE PMO site. Develops web parts, access and content support as needed. Creates new sites. Performs business analytical support for IT Documentum Content Management tool including: 1. Conducts business analysis and gathers requirements for Documentum work requests (AWRs) 2. Works close with external clients to develop requirements documentation, business case documentation, test plans and scripts to support Documentum related projects and work requests Supports department projects and initiatives including: 1. Assigned as Functional Business Analyst to key IT capital projects 2. Provides business analyst support to develop requirements documentation, test plans and scripts and assist with entry in Quality Center test tool Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Finance or equivalent work experience. Basic understanding of business operations and IT department functions. Understands the concepts, practices, and procedures of project management and financial planning Works and collaborates effectively with others. Able to quickly grasp organizational structure, financial concepts, and business processes. Able to document business conversations in terms of action items and/or business requirements. Demonstrates an interest in learning and assuming responsibility for a wide range of assignments. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of SharePoint administrative functions and use of tool Preferred: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Finance or equivalent work experience.
