About the Role The Digital Training Specialist will play a pivotal role in empowering our teams to create and support websites and other digital assets for the State of CT, and efficiently leverage our content standards and Sitecore content management system. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs, ensuring adherence to content standards, and providing ongoing training support to internal stakeholders. Additionally, the Digital Training Specialist will be instrumental in developing an enterprise learning program focused on various strategies such as gamification, user retention, and continuous improvement and innovation. Moreover, they will serve as a liaison with both agency teams and external vendors, overseeing compliance with standards and providing necessary training. The ideal candidate will need to have a deep understanding of our customers and our internal stakeholders, and be able to clearly communicate how your work will address and support their ongoing needs. In addition, the candidate should show a command of training best practices, as well as focusing on mobile-first experiences and working across teams. Experiences Required for This Role Training – At least 3 years of measurable experience in the following: Training and Education: Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related field. CMS Proficiency: Minimum 3 years of experience working with Sitecore or similar content management systems. Training Delivery: Proven track record in delivering effective training programs to diverse audiences. Content Development: Demonstrated expertise in developing content strategies and creating high-quality training materials. Vendor Management: Experience in liaising with vendors to ensure compliance with training standards and practices. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing training effectiveness and making data-driven improvements.
