The analyst will also be responsible for deriving conclusions across multiple business units and operating groups within Fiserv. The analyst will assist in defining quality thresholds, and establishing and monitoring the source datas fitness for use in analysis. The analyst will also make recommendations to improve the quality of source data in support of decision making. The role will work closely with multiple teams to define and support data and business analytic processes. Responsibilities The position will be responsible for working with a core and pan-Fiserv team to produce quantitative analysis of data related to financials, volumes, and other quality metrics to draw conclusions needed to support and assess the IT Transformation Program. This individual will be required to: ? Work with Corporate, Business Units, Enterprise Technology, and 3rd parties/partners to obtain, understand, and validate sources of data used in analysis processes ? Work with Transformation Initiative Leaders, Corporate, Business Units, and Enterprise Technology to facilitate the remediation of any identified data issues ? Work with leadership to understand the data and information requirements to develop conclusions aligned with the business needs. ? Identify and weigh multiple process paths if needed – for short-term and long-term needs Skills & experience requirements The Business Data Analyst Sr. should have a minimum 5-10 years of experience in data and information analytics methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to think outside of the box to identify or define analytical processes that provide additional benefit and bring simplicity to making complex business decisions. Skills and experience requirements include: ? Excellent understanding and experience in the utilization of statistical and analytical principles and processes with great quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills ? Expertise with analytical data and database tools (such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel) ? Excellent communications, consulting, and client relationship skills ? Ability to identify, collect, and analyze data in support of business decision making ? Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision ? Deep commitment and responsiveness to business needs, constraints, and tight timelines ? Self-disciplined, self-motivated with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes quickly ? Work in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change ? Superior attention to detail Other desired skills ?
