Apply Data Science Statistical algorithms Performance Data Modeling and Data Analyzing: Following activity to be performed Analyzing large volume of data Expertise in SQL desired. Also Big data (Hadoop) Organize Models by root cause category, app, sub-team, Predict the accuracy for root cause. 3 Used Cases and Models for each of them. Productionize Model (3 Models as Defined by Use Cases): Following activity to be performed Activity such as scoring, exporting and monitoring model in production. Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality Filtering and cleaning data and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Developing, prototype and test predictive algorithms Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets Acquiring, cleaning and structuring data from multiple sources and maintain databases/data systems. Top 3 requirements: 1) Experience in in statistical modeling 2) Experience in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, R Studio/SAS, SPARK 3) Experience in databases like Oracle, Postgres, PostGIS, SQL queries analysis and scripting Required Skills: 1) Experience in Statistical modeling 2) Programming in Python, SQL 3) Database technologies - Oracle, Postgres, SQL 4) Tableau 5) Analyzing large volume of data Desired Skills: 1) PLSQL, ETL Tools 2) SPARK 3) Hadoop platform Required Education & Experience: 1) B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, Masters preferred, with 6+ years work experience 2) Experience to include hands-on development and production support Additional Info for Position: Work Locations for Consideration: Primary - 700 Hidden Ridge, Irving, TX Other Site for consideration: One Verizon Way, Basking Ridge, NJ Work schedule: 8:00-5:00pm - Possible nights/weekends as needed due to needs of business (24x7 operation).
