Mobile Wellness App for Law Enforcement Agents

Client intends to make a purchase for which we believe there is limited or no competition. The purpose of this notice is to attempt to identify possible alternatives. resilience strengthening tools, mindfulness training, pre- employment psychological screening,officer involved shooting support, and leadership acceleration platforms for departments seeking to tackle 21st century law enforcement challenges head on.
The Wellness App is an “off the shelf” app being offered in a proactive effort to address the emotional health and well being of law enforcement, firefighters and other first responders. The law enforcement app is a confidential self-help tool that gives officers access to a wide range of wellness programs and services on their phone or other mobile device. Some of the wellness programs and services include information about family support, financial fitness, healthy habits, psychological first aid, marriage guidance, and other topics. The app also includes a variety of self-care checklists, allowing officers to quickly obtain feedback about their wellness and provides the officer the ability to immediately contact a
therapist in their area.The Wellness app is customizable and would be managed by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. An additional advantage of this app is the ability to have the app installed on the
officers spouse or significant others cellular phone allowing them the same access to wellness programs and services at no extra cost.
