Local candidates preferred. We are currently seeking a Deployment Manager for a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity with our corporate client located in San Jose, CA. The Deployment Manager role is a critical cross-functional role between Development, QA and the management of technology used in the SDLC. Our client is seeking someone with deployment, Java coding and open source project experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to build, run and manage build scripts using scripting tools such as Grunt, Ant and/or Jenkins to deploy web and mobile code to testing environments and production environments. This role will have a solid understanding of Continuous Integration and solid background in Java and deployment architectures for both web and mobile technology including knowledge of some MDM technology and strategies. Requirements: Served as a Tech Leader / Development Lead with a hands-on Java development background in mature development organizations Minimum 2 years using Ant, Jenkins, Grunt and/or Continuous Integration (CI) Experience with Deployment Architectures Experience writing build scripts for automated testing and deployment of application code Experienced with various Open Source technologies and some mobile technologies Solid understanding of deployment strategies for mobile apps (Apple App Store, Enterprise and Google Play) Solid understanding of web-based code structures and has ability to manage and deploy to QA and Production environments Can develop and troubleshoot build scripts for iOS, Android and Web software Experienced with GitHub Good Organizational Skills working between Development, QA and Technology Infrastructure Teams Solid grasp of implementing and administering Google Analytics and/or New Relic Ability to help the QA Team load app code for testing and manage the code repository for all applications. A general understanding of how to support Automated Functional testing practices Will manage Administrative accounts for GitHub, Apple Developer Account, Apple Enterprise Account, Google Play Account, Google Analytics, etc. and any other 3rd party tool sets used in development   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
