However, 100% remote work is an option Description: This contractor will provide data visualization development services in ArcGIS for the Wisconsin Energy Statistics modernization project. The contractor will work closely with the Office of Energy Innovation staff and other team members across the PSC. Currently, the Wisconsin Energy Statistics book is comprised of data coming from a variety of sources and stored in Access databases and spreadsheets. That data is then prepared for bi-annual publication as the “Energy Statistics Book.” The goal of the modernization project is to deliver the most current data in an online dashboard, using ArcGIS online software. The contractor will continue the implementation of this project by centralizing the storage of the data and when possible, creating automated processes to keep the data current. This work may include using Python Scripting or interacting with data via an API available from the EIA.The data must be reviewed for data integrity and quality control prior to being published. Using that data, the contractor will develop data visualizations that build upon the current Energy Stats Publication and bring these visualizations online in a dashboard format showcasing the real-time current state of energy generation, consumption and pricing in Wisconsin.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
