Job Description Architect: Architect, Ms Azure, Cloud Adoption, IT Experience

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Lead cultural change for cloud adoption
Develop a cloud strategy and coordinate adoption
Architect, design, facilitate, lead, coordinate, and direct cloud initiatives on multiple fronts across a variety of disparate areas within the organization, this could include Application development; Data management, analytics, and protection; External IT hosting; Identity and access management; Infrastructure; Network; Security, privacy and compliance; User experience.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment
Able to easily convey knowledge to others
Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic and multicultural business environment
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and proactive issue and risk management.
Must be able to resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress.
Proficiency in process formulation and communication to others.
Influential person with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Strong grasp of IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures.
Knowledge of assessment and analytical process and practices.
Skill in strategic planning.
Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage complex work assignments and project schedules.
Ability to research, identify, and implement innovative solutions.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently and as a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another related field.
Two (2) years of experience can substitute for education.
2 – 3 years of strong professional experience as a Microsoft Azure cloud architect is required.
5 - 8 years of professional experience in Information Systems or another related field is required.
Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment is highly desired.
2 - 3 years of professional experience in administration of ESRI GIS software is highly desired.
2 - 3 years of professional experience with Python development is highly desired.
