Candidate will be leading analysis/design/implementation/support activities of complex/large projects and make critical technical decisions to support future growth of eCommerce portal Infrastructure. This individual will lead, design, develop and support eCommerce Platform application and infrastructure on all complex projects. Role also includes Proactive monitoring of application infrastructure and identifying and avoiding potential performance problems are very critical. Candidate should develop and possess strong subject matter expertise and business knowledge skills be able to demonstrate in making vital decisions on Cross IT and Business calls and applying it to all eCommerce suite of applications. The position needs strong communication and leadership skills to handle development, infrastructure, middleware and production support teams to guide them in achieving successful results. Lead projects and work across various cross-functional groups and effectively work with a team of 10+ engineers. 8+ years of strong hands-on experience of design, development and production support activities with eCommerce platform, Middleware Application and Web server platforms IBM eCommerce, Broad lead eCommerce, WebLogic server, WebLogic Portal, WebSphere, IPlanet, and IBM Web Servers Hands-on experience working with eCommerce platform of applications, J2EE framework, Java, JSP, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, Oracle DB and Open DBs PostgreSQL/Mango DB Strong hands on DB design, PL/SQL programming experience with data replication and conflict resolution skills to design and support active-active replication for eCommerce application Strong 8+ years of strong middleware hands on development and administrative experience supporting mission critical applications Solid production support and proven troubleshooting skills for missing critical applications (24/7) Strong hands on experience with Dev Ops process and related tools expertise with open software/tools Superior technical (e.g., systems architecture) and analytical skills. Knowledge of state of the art technology.
