Candidate will be responsible for our clients vendor assurance program including evaluation of vendor risks in relation to services provided specific to Information Security and project assurance against Risk and Control Assurance needs. Candidate will be responsible for vendor evaluations and assessments, project and strategic program assurance, identifying control deficiencies to ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls, recommending improvements to internal control structure, conducting independent assessments of third parties, conducting assessments for utility regulations including NERC, PCI, MA 201, HIPAA, SOX, FERC and other international, federal and state regulations, conducting Information Security assessments related to services provided by third parties and service organizations. Job Duties: * Assist with the managing team of analysts to conduct Information Security reviews related to service providers * Support Vendor Assurance Program, integrating Risk and Compliance management into procurement processes. * Identify Associated risks related to Information Security, including operational technologies with embedded information technology * Work with third party service providers to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness related to Information Security * Support large scale projects and programs to assist with control and assurance needs * Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation * Verify the design and effectiveness of controls to secure information system assets, including people processes and technologies. * Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information * Communicate findings by preparing a final report, discuss findings with auditees and document results * Ensure controls support Compliance with International, Federal, State, and local requirements; enforcing adherence and advising management on needed actions. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing defined objectives * Work with internal stakeholders, including regulatory, legal and IS to build and maintain relationships and deliver value. Required Skills: Bachelors Degree with 3-5+ years of IS Auditing experience CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certificate required Understanding of assessing third party service providers and associated risks Understanding of SSAE 16, ISAE 3402, SOC 1, SOC 2 and AUP reports and principles Experience working for a Big 4 Consulting Company with IT and IS Audit Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): Masters Degree is a plus CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is a plus CRISC certification is a plus CISSP certification is a plus Additional Requirements: Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
