This legacy systems has been customized over the last 12years and processes 275K prescriptions a day. Even though the platform process significant volume, the Front End is “Form” based, which is outdated and not flexible to support the changing healthcare industry. POC was completed showing that we can migrate “areas” of the system to the cloud, while still maintaining data integrity and volume through-put. We will have up to 10 Scrum Teams focused on re-engineering separate areas and migrating to the cloud. These will be “green field” builds, which means the business is also performing process improvements. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Azure or Amazon Web Services Experience Kubernetes/Docker (CI/CD) React/Redux Spring Boot (MVC) Java 8 MySQL DB, Oracle DB Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field JOB DUTIES: - Develop client applications components in Java 8 and other software development tools and technologies per assigned tasks - Develop RESTful webservices using Azure Functions, Spring Boot, GraphQL - Develop microservices using integration/collaboration concepts, technologies and patterns - such as REST, JSON, message queues - Develop unit and integration tests for all written software programs and components. Follow test driven development approach - Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfers - Document and communicate design and application code specifications and details to other team members - Mentor junior developers on the team with programming standards - Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms and frameworks to support the business needs What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? Replacement of an Oracle EBS on prem platform Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? This will be a full Scrum Team with 9 team members. What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) - This position is 100% hands-on development. - Utilize Agile practices established by client - Lead all Software Engineer roles (Dev, Test, Support) - Partner with Product Owner and Design Engineer for delivery of Sprints - Complete assigned User Stories - Support deployment and any production issues - Utilization of Broadcom Rally System for Scrum Teams What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
