Troubleshoot automation issues and when required engage additional resources to find practical solutions to issues. • Evaluate and perform Proof of Concepts evaluations of new monitoring tools. • Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor by providing objective, practical and relevant insights and advice. • Deliver assignments based on project objectives and support projects to completion. Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are of high-quality. • Support established KPIs to ensure performance is measured against expected business outcomes. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical or scientific field. Certification: Azure cloud certification a plus Years of Experience: 5+ Qualifications • Strong experience with one of more of the following monitoring tools (New Relic, Microsoft Azure Monitoring, Microsoft Azure Application Insights, Alert Sight, CHEF) • Strong experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services such as Azure storage solutions, app service environments. • Strong experience with Azure DevOps (aka VSTS) and Git or similar development repositories • Experience with automation through PowerShell or other scripting languages • Experience working in both a Linux and Windows environment. • Experience with instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding relative to performance and availability of applications. • Working knowledge of related technologies including encryption, IPsec, VLANs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, proxy services, LAN/WAN connectivity • Working knowledge of software development life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery • Knowledge of the concepts and principles behind DevOps, SRE, CICD, Agile, Lean, etc. • Strong sense of accountability and ownership to get work done and make business happen • Passionate for making things better and driving action with a sense of urgency • Creative and innovative, taking a thorough, design-driven approach • Knows what is possible using latest networking, infrastructure, database, and application technologies to driving automation and reliability improvements • Brings new thinking to challenge existing technology and processes • Excellent at building relationships across teams   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
