Design and development of complex ETL workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop Data integration jobs and workflows. Design and conduct unit tests according to system design specifications. Monitor performance and optimize ETL jobs. Provide documentation as well as supporting artifact creation. Verify and validate data processes through performance and quality measurements. Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), e.g., SQL/PSM or Transact-SQL Knowledge of transferring from data sources like flat files, XML, JSON document, HTM document to RDBMS and vice versa. Experience understanding of crontab job scheduler capabilities. Experience writing Unix shell scripts and bash commands. Experience in platform configuration code development best practices design patterns and use cases. Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation and technical design. Experience working in an Agile methodology. Collaborate across multiple teams. Team player with strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical thinking. Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks. Bachelors Degree in Science/computer Science 5+ years of Data integration experience using Talend tool and Database. Talend certified is preferred but optional.
