Maintain testing and end-user documentation for this software. Act as resource to support the software that is deployed to the market. Also responsible for the creation of test plans, scripts and automated testing tools for the testing of software updates and certifications of new hardware for the Restaurant PoS and related systems, including, but not limited to; Online, PeopleSoft, and WebTools. QA Analysts are also responsible for the creation and maintenance of Regression test scripts and end user documentation to support all Software and hardware deployments. The QA Analyst will interact with the Business Analyst(s) for each Development area and will be responsible for monitoring the Release Schedules and planning of Release testing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Provide input for the development of supporting documentation materials for release notes, and help desk reference materials. • Assist with the creation and maintenance of detailed and specific testing scripts for all aspects of the point of sale system, hardware certifications, Graphical Dispatch Application, Online System, Web Tools, and eForms. • Perform quality assurance testing using specified testing scripts to identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens and content for all updates to the point of sale and related systems. • Respond to inquiries from users, developers, and technical support personnel regarding functions and operations of the software programs. • Provide documented feedback regarding quality assurance test results.
