Develop, operate, optimize, and maintain Python, Perl, and other various scripting languages. Develop and define standard operating procedures and diagrams for greenfield and brownfield environments. Interface with a large portfolio of enterprise, data center, carrier, and public cloud solutions through the CLI, API, and GUI. Interface with vendors, VARs, third party partners, carriers, end-users, and internal engineering departments to maintain and provide a highly available and reliable network infrastructure. Participate in daily provisioning activities such as switchports, IPs, host records, circuit turn ups, network gear deployments, and other lifecycle items. Perform in-depth TCP/UDP packet analysis utilizing WireShark and other solutions. Provide leadership & mentorship to less experienced and technical engineers, administrators, and customers. Operate, optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot a large portfolio of enterprise, data center, carrier, and public cloud solutions from Cisco Systems, Infoblox, AWS, and others. Operate as a member of a rotating on-call schedule for network related issues. Work with minimal supervision and instruction on routine work, and develop implementation approaches on new assignments. Required Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years supporting Enterprise, Data Center, and/or Public Cloud network environments. Ability to provide excellent communication and coordination of highly visible troubleshooting sessions while performing complex troubleshooting & analysis. Highly Proficient knowledge of AWS services & solutions. Proficient knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NXOS. Proficient knowledge of routing including OSPF and BGP. Proficient knowledge of Application Deliver Controllers/Load Balancers, Firewalls, DNS, and other network related services. Proficient knowledge of TCP/UDP protocols for packet analysis. Proficient knowledge of Python scripting. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty. Certification of Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies Exam 300-401 ENCOR or equivalent CCNP Routing & Switching. Certification of Implementing and Operating Cisco Data Center Core Technologies Exam 300-601 DCCOR or equivalent CCNP Data Center. Certification of Configuring Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in ACI Mode Exam 300-620 DCACI or equivalent Cisco ACI experience. Certification of Developing Applications and Automating Workflows using Cisco Core Platforms Exam 200-901 DEVASC or Automation/Scripting experience. Essential understanding of Catalyst CBS/3650/3850/4948/6500/9000, Nexus 9000/7700/7000/6000/5000/3000/2000, ISR2k/4k, ASR1k, and ASR9ks. Essential knowledge of Cisco ACI. Essential knowledge of Cisco NXAPI. Essential understanding of VXLAN Fabrics and control planes including Flood&Learn, Ingress/Head-End Replication, and BGP eVPN. Essential understanding of various network technologies such as QoS (DSCP/COS), HSRP, Anycast, DMVPN, GRE, IPSEC, RPVST, TRILL/FPATH, VRF, ISSU, VDC, VPC, VPC+, eVPC, LACP, STP Edge Ports, SPAN, ERSPAN, ECMP, SNMP, TACACS+ and others.
