We have a 24-month project with our client in NYC, NY that requires a Reporting Analyst, Expert Performing as a member of the Data Analytics and Reporting team, the reporting analyst is responsible for developing and continually refining data reporting and analytical processes including data models used in the development of operational and management report and dashboards. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Design, develop and implement databases and/or data marts that will be used to feed automated operational and management dashboards produced on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Design responsive data reports and analysis utilizing new and emerging processes and systems supporting remote learning as a result of COVID-19. Extract and transform data from multiple internal systems into a consolidated database and/or data mart that will be used for reporting, dashboards, and analytical modeling. Conversion of existing reports, dashboards, and data processes to accommodate source application enhancements. Utilizes analyses to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics and dashboards for insights and data visualization in existing business intelligence platform Fulfill ad-hoc requests Develop, test, and implement SQL data queries and analysis Act as technical expert for all BI and Data Modeling technologies Ensure that all database designs conform to appropriate data modeling standards, guidelines, internal best practices and approved modeling techniques and approaches. Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures Collaborate with Data Architects and IT team members on reporting requirements Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms 84 Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months interpreting business requirements to build visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Microsoft Power BI 84 months writing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers views and programs 84 months in implementing row level security on data and an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. 84 months working with Microsoft SQL databases with experience of SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS 84 months Developing Business Intelligence reports utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power Bi and Tableau with demonstrated ability in integrating Microsoft SQL 84 months building and implementing databases and data marts for operational, analytical and/or dashboard reporting using data A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college 84 months analyzing complex data and performing advance level calculations on datasets for data reporting and statistical modeling Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
