Local or close by candidates are highly preferred. Responsible for data analysis and management reporting. Creates/designs and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs. Incorporates end user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution. Identifies appropriate metrics on which to report and utilizes software to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations. Provides support to research team or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results. Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, IT to achieve business results. Must have expertise in SQL programming and have in-depth proficiency in data extraction and reporting techniques. Specifically: * Report Builder or SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) * SQL connection design * SharePoint connection design * Sub report development knowledge * Report page design * Basic SharePoint skills (list design, field types, page design, page/document security) * VB.NET for code behind on reports WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES 7 or more years of IT work experience in DBMS support and/or analysis, software application development, or report writing using appropriate tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.). 3 or more years of work experience designing and creating highly complex database reports. Requires in-depth knowledge and proficiency in data extraction and reporting techniques and in the use of database and report-writing tools and platforms.
